Combine history with the beautiful marine environment on this day long cruise that dates back nearly a century and takes in the secluded islands of the Bay plus offers a chance to swim with the dolphins who visit there waters.
The 'Cream Trip' is the most extensive day cruise available in the Bay of Islands and follows the selected routes of the original Fullers trip, which began in 1927 to deliver mail and essential supplies, and to collect cream from various settlements dotted throughout the region.
As you cruise through the Bay, you'll have the opportunity to swim with dolphins encountered along the way. You can either swim alongside these wild creatures, or try 'boom-netting', a perfect alternative for less confident swimmers. (to swim with dolphins pay an additional $30 per person)
The Cape Brett lighthouse marks the farthest point of the trip, and here you'll be taken through the stunning Hole in the Rock and its Grand Cathedral Cave. You'll also see other iconic spots such as Marsden Cross and the Black Rocks before making an island stopover for lunch.
